First-aid measures

Eye:
Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes.
If persistent irritation occurs, obtain medical attention.

Skin:
Remove contaminated clothing.
Wash skin with plenty of water using soap for at least 15 minutes.
If persistent irritation occurs, obtain medical attention.

Inhalation:
Remove from exposure and move to fresh air immediately. If rapid recovery does not occur,
obtain medical attention or hospitalize. If not breathing give artificial respiration.

Ingestion:
Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
Wash out mouth with water.
Obtain medical attention or hospitalize.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media: Carbon dioxide, dry chemical powder, alcohol-resistant foam, waterspray.

Special protective,equipment for fire-fighters: Wear self contained breathing apparatus for fire fighting if necessary.

Unusual Fire and Explosion Hazards: Do not use water in a jet. Keep adjacent drums and tanks cool by spraying with water.

Accidental release measures

Leaks and Spills:
Ventilate contaminated area thoroughly.
Avoid contact with: skin and eyes.
Do not breathing dust.
Evacuate the area of all non essential personnel.
Avoid dust formation.
Wear protective clothing specified for normal operations

Environmental precautions:
Prevent from entering into drains, ditches and rivers. Prevent contamination of soil and water.

Clean up Methods:
Sweep and shovel up with a wet scrubbing in order to avoid creating a dust cloud.
Showel up and place in a labelled drum, sealable container for subsequent safe disposal.
Wash contaminated area with water. Retain the aqueous effluent as contaminated waste.
Transfer to a labelled, sealable container for product recovery or safe disposal.

Handling and storage

Handling:
When using, do not eat, drink or smoke.
Avoid contact with skin, eyes. Do not breathing dust
Use local exhaust extraction. Only use in well ventilated areas.
Avoid formation of dust.

Storage:
Do not smoke in storage areas.
Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well ventilated place. Store in a cool place.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Respirators: If risk of inhalation wear: General purpose dust respirator (cartridge P1 type)

Eyes: Monogoggles with lateral protections.

Hands: PVC gloves.

Skin: Wear appropriate protective clothing to minimize contact with skin.

Ventilation: Use only in well ventilated areas.

Stability and reactivity

Stability:
Stable under normal use and ambient conditions.
Inox corrosion test at 80°C (10 days): no effect (loss = 0.003%)

Avoid contact with strong oxidizing agents and strong bases.
