Endpoint:
boiling point
Type of information:
experimental study
Adequacy of study:
key study
Reliability:
2 (reliable with restrictions)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
other: see 'Remark'
Remarks:
The reliability is rated 2 because the method followed is equivalent/similar to the standard guideline of reference (OECD 103), which describes a procedure designed to evaluate this endpoint. The results were reviewed for reliability and assessed as valid. Study not conducted under GLP conditions.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
Based on the thermic stability determined by DSC, the heat chart shows that the test item starts decomposing at approximately 240°C without melting. Therefore the determination of a boiling point is not possible.
