Description of key information

Cu(II)IDHA_OECD102: Substance decomposes at the temperature of about 80 °C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Melting / freezing point at 101 325 Pa:
80 °C

Additional information

The melting point of Cu(II)IDHA was determined according to OECD Guideline 102 (Lewandowska, 2011) in compliance with GLP. A capillary tube was heated in a metal block of a BÜCHI Melting Point B-545 apparatus. It was determined that the substance decomposes at the temperature of about 80 °C. Decomposition was completed (carbonization) at temperature 196 °C.
