Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

According to Regulation (EC) No.1907/2006, Annex IX, Column 2, toxicity testing on terrestrial organisms need not be conducted if direct and indirect
exposure of the soil compartment is unlikely. The substance does not have a high potential to adsorb to soil, based upon its soil adsorption coefficient (Koc) of 90.26 L/kg (i.e., log Koc = 1.96), which is substantially below the criterion that is indicative of strong binding to soil (i.e, log Koc > 4, in accordance with ECHA guidance). Therefore, direct and indirect exposures of terrestrial organisms to the substance in soil are unlikely, and toxicity testing on soil micro-
organisms is not indicated.
