Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

There are no data available on biotic effects of the test substance in the atmosphere, because it is not volatile and therefore not expected to be present in the air. Furthermore, the substance is not expected to contribute to global warming, ozone depletion in the stratosphere, or acidification on the basis of its physical and chemical properties.

The test substance is very soluble in water and hydrolytically stable with a half-life of greater than 1 year. It is readily biodegradable (freshwater and seawater) as well as completely removed from the waste water by activated sludge micro-organisms. It adsorbs well onto soil and is therefore considered to be immobile. Further, the low estimated Log Kow and BCF values indicate a low bioaccumulation potential in living organisms. Based on the above facts, the bioavailability and long-term exposure of aquatic or terrestrial or sediment organisms to the test substance is assumed to be low.
