Description of key information

According to the "Guidance on Information Requirements and Chemical Safety Assessment" (Chapter R.7.1.10), the flash point is the primary value for ease of ignition of liquids. The substance is only used as a liquid for which the flash point (see section 4.11) is thus the key measure of the flammability.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Sodium ethylensulphonate is commercially only available as an aqueous solution. The dry substance would be a solid.

Hence the determination of a flash point is not required.
