Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
Skin contact: Remove all contaminated clothing and shoes immediately. Wash with soap or mild detergent and large amounts of water until no evidence of chemical remains (at least 15-20 minutes). Get medical attention immediately.
Eye contact: Wash eyes immediately with large amounts of water or normal saline, occasionally lifting upper and lower lids, until no evidence of chemical remains (at least 15-20 minutes). Get medical attention immediately.
Inhalation: Remove from exposure area to fresh air immediately. Perform artificial respiration if necessary. Keep a person warm and at rest.
Get medical attention immediately.
Ingestion Rinse mouth with water. Do not make an unconscious person vomit. Get medical attention immediately.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media: Dry chemical, carbon dioxide, and dry sand. For large fires, use alcohol-resistant foam.
Fire-fighting: Move container from fire area if you can do it without risk.
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture May produce toxic fume of carbon oxides if burning.
Advice for firefighters: Avoid breathing hazardous vapors, keep the windward side. Firefighters should wear proper protective equipment.
Use agents suitable for type of surrounding fire.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures: Stop leak if you can do it without risk. Eliminate all ignition sources. (no smoking, flares, sparks or flames in immediate area).
Environmental precautions: Prevent entry into waterways, sewers, basements or confined areas.
Methods and materials for containment and cleaning up: Flush residual spill with copious amounts of water. All equipment used when handling the product must be grounded. Do not touch or walk through spilled material. A vapor suppressing foam may be used to reduce vapors.
Small spills: Absorb or cover with dry earth, sand or other non-combustible material and transfer to containers. Use clean non-sparking tools to collect absorbed material.
Large spills:Dike far ahead of liquid spill for later disposal. Water spray may reduce vapor; but may not prevent ignition in closed spaces.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling: Avoid contact with skin or eyes. Use only in the well-ventilated areas. Keep away from oxidizing agents.
Shut off all gas pilots and electrical ignitions and other sources of ignition during use and until all vapors are gone.
Wash your hands and face
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities: Store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated location. Keep away from heat, steam pipe or sunlight. Keep container tightly closed. Choose electrical machinery and apparatus having explosion-proof construction. Ground all apparatus.
Shut off all sources of ignition. -No smoking Avoid placing in the same area with an oxidizing substance or an organic peroxide.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Control parameters: EU. Indicative Exposure Limit Values: Not available.
Exposure controls:
Ventilation: Provide local exhaust or process enclosure ventilation. Make available emergency shower and eye wash in the work area.
Personal protective equipment: Respiratory Protection : Industrial canister gas masks
Eye protection : Safety goggles
Hand, skin, and body protection : Impervious clothing Chemical resistant gloves, apron and impervious boots
Stability and reactivity
Reactivity: Stable at normal temperature and pressure.
Chemical stability: Stable at normal temperature and pressure.
Possibility of hazardous reactions: No hazardous reaction when handled and stored according to provisions.
Conditions to avoid: Avoid heat, flames, sparks and other sources of ignition.
Incompatible materials: Oxidizing materials, reducing agents, acids, and bases.
Hazardous decomposition products: Thermal decomposition products: Oxides of carbon.
Disposal considerations
Waste treatment methods:
The material is potentially detoxified, stabilized and/or neutralized to minimize the hazardous level prior to the disposal.
Remove the material from containers completely and then dispose of it according to local and national authority guidelines
Do not dump into sewers, on the ground or into any body of water.
