Name:
407-560-9 4,4'-(9H-fluoren-9-ylidene)bis(2-chloroaniline)
Type of composition:
legal entity composition of the substance
State / form:
solid: bulk
Related composition:
407-560-9 4,4'-(9H-fluoren-9-ylidene)bis(2-chloroaniline), boundary composition
Reference substance:
407-560-9 4,4'-(9H-fluoren-9-ylidene)bis(2-chloroaniline)
PBT status:
the substance is PBT / vPvB
Justification:

Based on a ready biodegradation test and fugacity models, 4,4´-(9H-fluoren-9-ylidene)bis(2-chloroaniline) (CAS No. 107934-68-9) could be regarded as potentially vP. With regard to bioaccumulation, high bioconcentration factors > 5000 L/kg were determined. In consequence, the substance may be regarded as very bioaccumulative. The substance is also very toxic for the reproduction of invertebrates. It should be considered as meeting the T criteria.

Therefore the substance is potentially vPvB and PBT.

Likely routes of exposure:

It should be noted, that due to the strictly self-contained use of the substance, environmental exposure is unlikely.
