Other effects:
Loss of corneal epithelium was observed two days after instillation in one animals. Transient iritis was seen in two animals. A diffuse crimson red colourisation of the conjuntivae was observed in two animals and was accompagnied in one, by considerable swelling with partial erversion of the eyelidds.
