Description of key information

The surface tension of an aqueous solution of the test item (90 % of the water solubility) was determined to be 65.2 mN/m at 20°C ± 0.2 °C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Surface tension:
65.2

Additional information

The surface tension was determined of an aqueous solution of the test item (90 % of the water solubility).

Therefore a mixture of six saturated samples of the test item in water was prepared and diluted. The content of the test item was determined.

Determination of the Surface Tension of an Aqueous Solution of tris(oxiranylmethyl) benzene-1,2,4-tricarboxylate (GLP compliant study based on the Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008, A.5, 2008 and OECD No.: 115, 1995 and DIN EN 14370; November 2004) Author: Andrea Fieseler Study Completion Date: February 17, 2011
