Description of key information
The mean particle size, number in volume, of DPTT test item, is determined to be 17 µm (D(4.3)), with 36% of particles presenting a diameter less than 10µm.
Additional information
A study was performed at Laboratoire Qualité & Soutien Exploitation de MLPC International to investigate the particle size distribution (granulometry) on 3 batchs of the test substance DPTT PD (DIPENTAMETHYLENE THIURAM HEXASULPHIDE). The study was conducted according to ISO 13320- 1 “International standard for Laser Diffraction Measurements – Principles of Laser diffraction” and in accordance with OECD Test Guideline 110. The mean particle size, number in volume, of DPTT test item, is determined to be 17 µm (D(4.3), with 36% of particles presenting a diameter less than 10µm.
