Description of key information

In the test conditions (i.e. load.0.1%, 20°C, pH 7), the concentrations of both isomers were:
125 µg/L for isomer 1 (alpha.R,1R,6S)- and 285 µg/L for isomer 2 [1a(S*),6b]- (9Cl) in double distilled water,
115 µg/L for isomer 1 (alpha.R,1R,6S)- and 261 µg/L for isomer 2 [1a(S*),6b]- (9Cl) in daphnia reconstituted medium M4.

Additional information

A fully reliable experimental study, conducted according to a recognized OECD/EC method and under GLP, is available. Therefore it is considered as a key study.

However, despite all efforts to avoid the technical difficulties due to emulsification properties of the substance, the variability of results suggests that centrifugation may have not totally cleaned the water phase, so the results should be considered as maximum values.

Moreover, as a multiconsituent substance, it is considered more relevant to express the results per individual isomer, therefore no single key value was retained.
