Justification:

This substance is not persistent as it is hydrolytically unstable (half-life 45 days under pH 7.5 at 17 deg. C) and is found to be readily/inherently biodegradable. In addition, the log Kow of the substance is -0.76. Based on these properties, this substance is not persistent and has no bioaccumulation potential. The chronic and subchronic NOEC values are between 0.1 to 1 mg/l (> 0.01 mg/l) and this substance is not classified as mutagenic or reproduction toxic or toxic to target organs after repeated exposure. Therefore, it is not considered toxic. In conclusion, the criteria set for classification of the substance to PBT or vPvB is not fulfilled.
