No experimental data are available investigating the adsorption/desorption potential of N-lauroylsarcosine (CAS 97-78-9). Therefore, the log Koc was estimated using the method according to Franco and Trapp (2008). The pKa of 3.96 and the log Kow of 4.1 were used as input parameters. A log Koc ranging from 2.43 to 3.91 resulted, indicating a considerable potential of the substance for adsorption to soil and sediment particles.
