Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

RESULTS

The calibration of the instrument was verified at 20.0 °C with double-distilled water and cyclohexane just before the determinations. The results were:

Water : reference value: 0.998 g/ml instrument reading: 0.998 g/ml

Cyclohexane: : reference value: 0.779 g/ml instrument reading: 0.779 g/ml

The results are within the precision of the instrument (± 0.001 g/ml).

The results obtained with Cyclamen Aldehyde Extra at 20.0 °C were:

first sample (average of two determinations) : density = 0.9480 g/ml

second sample (average of two determinations) : density = 0.9480 g/ml

average (round off) : density = 0.948

The estimated precision is : ± 0.001 g/ml

Conclusions:
The density of Cyclamen Aldehyde Extra was determined according to the OECD guideline No. 109 (Oscillating densitimeter method) and was found to be 0.948 ± 0.001 g/ml at 20 °C.
Executive summary:

The density of Cyclamen Aldehyde Extra was determined according to the OECD guideline No. 109 (Oscillating densitimeter method) and was found to be 0.948 ± 0.001 g/mL at 20 °C.
