The surface tension of a 1 g/L aqueous mixture of CHIMEXANE NB was determined to be 29.63 mN/m with a standard deviation of 0.05 mN/m at a temperature of 20.3°C.

A GLP study was conducted to determine the surface tension of CHIMEXANE NB according to the OECD Guideline 115 and EU method A.5.
CHIMEXANE NB is classified as surface-active substance based on a measured surface tension less than 60 mN/m (1 g/L solution).
This study was considered as reliable without restriction.
