The relative density is 0.941  at 25 deg. C as per method ASTM D 891.

The key value was determined by using a pycnometer method according to ASTM D 891. Titanium tetra(octanolate), branched and linear is hydrolytically unstable. When it comes in contact with water or moisture, a complete hydrolysis will take place with no significant reaction products other than the organic solvent and hydrated titanium dioxide. Because of rapid hydrolysis, instead of the target substance, read-across data on the density of the solvent (Exxal 8; alcohols C7-9 -iso, C8 -rich), 0.83 at 20 deg.Celsius, released from the substance is used as a key value in exposure assessment (see section 9 & 10 of CSR).
