Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Based on the results of short-term study, the test substance had no toxic effect at the limit concentration of 100 mg/L on Zebrafish. The 96 h-NOEC value was determined to be 100 mg/L, the 96 h-LC50 and the 96 h-LOEC were determined to be higher than 100 mg/L.

Additional information

The test substance was tested in an acute toxicity test with Brachydanio rerio (zebra fish) under static conditions according to EU method C.1, OECD guideline No 203 and OPPTS guideline 850.1075. A limit test was performed in which, the test animals were exposed to aqueous test media containing the test item for 96 hours at only one concentration (100 mg/L) plus a control. Significant toxic effect was not observed during the preliminary test, therefore only one test concentration (100 mg/L) and one control group was tested in a limit test. The measured concentrations of the test substance varied between 101 and 102 % of the nominal concentration; therefore the biological results are based on the nominal concentration. Mortality and any sub-lethal effects were not observed during the 96-h exposure period either in the treated or in the control group. Accordingly, the 96-h NOEC was determined to be 100 mg/L and the LOEC and the LC50 values were determined to be higher than 100 mg/L.
