Description of key information

In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex VII, a study does not need to be conducted as self-heating properties of the substance can be excluded up to 380 °C/400 °C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

No exothermic effects were determined up to 380 °C. The wire mesh basket was empty after the measurement (Grewer test). As a conclusion no self-heating properties are expected up to a temperature of 400 °C which is the prerequisite for the waiving argument for the endpoint of auto flammability (see IUCLID chapter 4.19).
