In the event of fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus.

4) ADDITIONAL ADVICE:
Use water spray to cool unopened containers.

Accidental release measures

1) GENERAL REMARK:
Substance is handled as intermediate in closed systems under strictly controlled conditions. Therefore, there will be neither an exposure of workers nor any release to the environment. The substance is no longer present after processing. In order to avoid any contact with or release of the substanceto the environment in case of an accident, personal as well as technical protective measures are mandatory.

2) PERSONAL PRECAUTIONS:
Use respirator when performing operations involving potential accidental exposure to vapour of the product.

Prevent product from entering drains in case of spillage.

4) METHODS FOR CLEANING UP:
Sweep up or vacuum up spillage and collect in suitable container for disposal and wear full protective clothing incl. goggles and gloves. Do not flush into surface water or sanitary sewer system.

Handling and storage

1) HANDLING:
This substance should be handled under strictly controlled conditions as specified in Reach regulation article 18(4). Site documentation to support safe handling arrangements in accordance with risk-based management system should be available at each manufacturing site. During the whole lifecycle all necessary measures should be undertaken to minimize emissions and any resulting exposure.

1.1) SAFE HANDLING ADVICE:
Provide sufficient air exchange and/or exhaust in work rooms. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.

1.2) ADVICE ON PROTECTION AGAINST FIRE AND EXPLOSION:
Take precautionary measures against static discharges.

2) STORAGE:

Tightly fitting safety goggles

1.5) SKIN AND BODY PROTECTION:
Choose body protection according to the amount and concentration of the dangerous substance at the work place. No special protective equipment required.

2) ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION MEASURES:
Use in tightly closed reaction vessel only. Waste or remainig substance has to be incinerated in an authorized incineration facility equipped with flue-gas scrubbing. Contaminated process waters have to be pre-treated in an industrial waste water treatment plant before discharging.
