JUSTIFICATION FOR DATA WAIVING
The test substance is a hygroscopic powder with large solid lumps which cannot be characterized by the particle size distribution analysis. Moreover, due to the hygroscopic nature of the test substance there is no stable particle size distribution. Therefore a representative particle size distribution analysis is not possible. In accordance with Section 2 of REACH Annex XI, testing was omitted.

Expert statement

The test substance is a hygroscopic powder with large solid lumps which cannot be characterized by the particle size distribution analysis. Moreover, due to the hygroscopic nature of the test substance there is no stable particle size distribution. Therefore a representative particle size distribution analysis is not possible.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
From the GLP-compliant expert statement it was concluded that a granulometry test could not be performed due to the hygroscopic properties of TMAC. In accordance with Section 2 of REACH Annex XI, testing was omitted.
