The half life of 4-Methylpent-1-ene is estimated to be greater than 1 year at 25°C.

Results are based on a key study performed to GLP in accordance with OECD Guideline 111. Mean residual percentage of pH 4.0, 7.0 and 9.0 at 50 +/- 1 C degree after 5 days were 94.6, 96.8 and 99.5 respectively. Thus, half life of 4-Methylpent-1-ene is estimated to be greater than 1 year.
