- Detailed findings for each step are provided in the experimental report.

- Atmospheric pressure ranged between 98925 and 100666 Pa during the study.

- The lowest measured value of the auto ignition temperature is 265 °C.

- The auto ignition temperature (result of determination) is the lowest value from the three experiments, rounded down to a whole multiple of 5°C. Therefore, the auto ignition temperature is stated as 265 °C.

Conclusions:
The auto ignition temperature of Rosemary oil was determined to be 265 °C at 98925-100666 Pa.
Executive summary:

The auto-ignition temperature of Rosemary oil was measured according to EU A.15/DIN 51794 guideline. Three main tests were performed, the relevant parameters were recorded, and results ranged between 265 and 275 °C. The lowest result, rounded down to 5 °C, i.e. 265 °C, is retained.

Description of key information

A fully reliable experimental study, conducted according to a recognized EC/DIN method, is available. Therefore it is considered as a key study, and the result is retained as key data. This parameter is not relevant for classification; however the information is useful regarding potential additional fire hazard. No particular hazard is anticipated in normal conditions of storage. The auto ignition temperature of Rosemary oil was determined to be 265 °C at 98925 -100666 Pa.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Autoflammability / Self-ignition temperature at 101 325 Pa:
