Method

The determination was carried out using the capillary method with liquid bath, using a procedure designed to be compatible with Method A1 Melting/Freezing Temperature of Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008 and Method 102 of the OECD Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals, 27 July 1995.

The test item is placed in a glass capillary tube and is slowly heated under equilibrium conditions at atmospheric pressure until melting occurs or until a temperature of at least 360 °C is reached.

The melting temperature was determined to be over the range 77 to 92 °C (350 to 365 K).
