Additional information

In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annexes IX and X, there is no need to investigate the terrestrial toxicity of the substance. Indeed, barium hexaferrite is highly insoluble in water; moreover, considering its physicochemical properties, the substance exists only in crystalline form as solid substance and, due to its high density, it is expected to be simply deposited. Therefore direct and indirect exposure of the terrestrial compartment is unlikely.
