Executive summary:

The substance was tested for flammability according to VDI 2263 sheet 1. After applying a flame as ignition source the sample began to melt and stgarts to burn with a flame. During the burning the sample formed crusts on the surface. An independent propargation of the flame was observed. After applying a hot platinum wire the sample also began to melt but burned onyl locally. Due to the crusts the flame stopped before further propargation. The burning behaviour has to be rated with combustion index 5.

The determination of the burning time for a length of 200 mm was not necessary since the flame stopped 10 - 15 sec after removal of the ignition source (gas flame).
