Description of key information

Lithium titanium oxide contains none of the reactive groups that could be responsible for self-reactive properties. Therefore self-reactive properties of the submitted substance are unlikely.
Lithium titanium oxide shows no signs of self-heating at production up to at least 750 °C. No self-heating at storage or transport is expected.
No deviation of the sample temperature increase from that of the oven was observed in the autoflammability test.
It is therefore concluded that lithium titanium oxide is not self-heating.
