Additional information:

A study to determine the potential of the test item 1-bromodecane to induce delayed contact hypersensitivity was evaluated in guinea pigs according to the maximization method of Magnusson and Kligman and to OECD 406 and method EC B6 guidelines.

Under experimental conditions, the test item 1-bromodecane induces cutaneous reactions attributable to an irritant effect in guinea pigs.
It is therefore not possible to conclude on the potential of the test item to induce delayed contact hypersensitivity in guinea pigs.
