Description of key information

AAO has a flash point of 40°C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Based on experience in handling and use of acetaldehyde oxime it is sufficiently clear that the substance is not susceptible to spontaneous ignition upon contact with water or air. The flammability of this liquid is therefore principally described by its flash point.

Justification for classification or non-classification

As AAO is a liquid at room temperature and has a flash point of 40°C, classification as a flammable liquid Cat. 3 is required.
