Conclusion on classification

Classification and labelling according to to CLP:

Justification for classification or non classification

Three acute tests have been performed with fish, daphnia and algae. Two chronic values are available in daphnia and in algae. No effects have been observed up to the limit of the water solubility.

The substance is not readily biodegradable but has a logPow of <4.

Therefore a classification related to risk phrases H400, H410, H411 or H412 is not required.

H413 (safety net) can also be ruled out as additional evidence for non-toxicity is given by results from chronic studies: No effects have been found in algae and daphnia.
