Additional information

The substance is practically insoluble and has a negligible vapour pressure. Hence, the test substance is not expected to evaporate from the water surface into the atmosphere. Since adsorption to solid soil phase is expected, the described organophosphite will preferentially distribute into the compartments soil and sediment.

Abiotic degradation as well as biotic degradation turned out to be slowly under environmental conditions.

Experimental data on the bioaccumulation behavior of the substance are not available. Nevertheless, based on QSAR calculations, the molecular structure and the physico-chemical properties significant accumulation in organisms is not expected.
