Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Based on the conclusions drawn from the study in section 5.2.1, we consider the substance to be ultimately (possibly inherently) biodegradable. The ready biodegradability study shown in section 5.2.1 demonstrates that the degradation was relatively constant up to the end of the study period and reached a level of 24% degradation. This suggests that the degradation was not due to impurities or background substances, and would have continued if the study had been longer. We therefore conclude that the substance is ultimately biodegradable.
