Executive summary:

The bioaccumulation of 4,4-Difluoro Benzophenone was investigated in a bioaccumulation study with fish according to OECD 305 B. The test species Danio rerio was exposed to the test item at two concentration levels (0.1 and 0.2 mg/L) The uptake phase lasted 15 days (until the steady state was reached) and subsequent elimination was monitored over a period of 8 days. The following steady state BCF values were calculated

Conc. A (0.1 mg/L): BCF = 55.4

Conc. B (0.2 mg/L): BCF = 74.4

The study was assessed as "reliable with restrictions".
