First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Seek medical advice
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse out with plenty of clean water or eyewash solution.

If necessary seek medical advice.

Protective equipment: Use self-contained breathing apparatus and protective
clothing.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Avoid skin contact and the inhalation of dust. Spilt product
should be stored in labelled drums. Cleaning staff must
follow the precautions listed in 2.3.1 . Dust formation can
be avoided by wetting the spilt product before sweeping it
up or covering it with an inert moist material. If possible
a registered industrial vacuum cleaner can be used to take
up spilt products.

Handling and storage

Handling: 1. OPENING OF THE CONTAINERS, SCALING AND MIXING THE
CONCENTRATED SUSPNESION AND SOLUTIONS

Use suitable tools and provide effective ventilation.
Suitable protective glasses, clothes and gloves are
recommended if necessary use dust mask P2. The dyestuff will
be marketed in non-dusting formulation.


2. DISSOLVING, DYEING AND CLEANING

Provide effective ventilation to avoid the inhalation of
dust. Avoid skin contact. Follow precautions mentioned under
1.


3. PRECAUTIONS

Suitable protective glasses, clothes and gloves are
recommended. After contact with skin wash immediately with
plenty of water and soap. Contamined clothing must be
changed. Persons with chronic illness of the respiratory
tracts should avoid reactive dyestuffs. Persons with
sensitization to reactive dyestuffs must avoid all contacts
with reactive dyestuffs. Seek medical advice when difficulty
in breathing occurs.

Storage: Storage rooms should be treated with common hygiene
precautions. Opend containers should be tightly closed after
use. Avoid substance residues on the container.
