Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets

Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: If the dusts of this product are inhaled, remove victim to
fresh air. The contaminated individual must seek medical
attention if any adverse effects occur.
Emergency measure - Eyes: If this product enters the eyes, open contaminated
individual's eyes while under gently running water. Use
sufficient force to open eyelids. Have contaminated
individual "roll" eyes. Minimum flushing is for 15 minutes.

The contaminated individual must seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: If this product contaminates the skin, begin decontamination
with running water. Minimum flushing is for 15 minutes. The
contaminated individual must seek medical attention if any
adverse effects occur.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: If this product is swallowed, CALL PHYSICIAN OR POISON
CONTROL CENTER FOR MOST CURRENT INFORMATION. If
professional advice is not available, in the case of
accidental overdose one should induce vomiting. If victim is
convulsing, maintain an open airway and obtain immediate
medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Use water fog, dry chemical or CO2, or alcohol foam

Product arising from burning: Products of combustion may contain oxides of carbon,
nitrogen and soot.

Product determined by test: N

Protective equipment: Firefighters must wear Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus
and full protective equipment. All personal protective gear
and contaminated fire-response equipment should be
decontaminated with soapy water before being returned to
service. Move fire-exposed containers if it can be done
without risk to firefighters. If possible, prevent runoff
water from entering storm drains, bodies of water, or other
environmentally sensitive areas.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Uncontrolled releases should be responded to by trained
personnel using pre-planned procedures. Proper protective
equipment should be used. In case of a spill, clear the
affected area and protect people. The proper personal
protective equipment for incidental releases (e.g., 10 g)
should be gloves, safety glasses, and a lab coat. In the
event of a non-incidental release (e.g., 100 g in which
excessive dust can be generated) , minimum Personal
Protective Equipment should be triple-gloves (rubber gloves
and nitrile gloves over latex gloves), chemical resistant
suit and boots, hard-hat, and Self-Contained Breathing
Apparatus. Wet spilled solid with water before clean up to
minimize the generation of airborne dusts. Sweep up or
vacuum spilled material carefully, avoiding the generation
of dusts. Rinse the contaminated area with soapy water.
Decontaminate the area thoroughly. Place all spill residue
in an appropriate, labeled container and seal. Dispose of
in accordance with local hazardous waste disposal
regulations.
