Administrative data

First-aid measures

General information: Remove from exposure. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes.
Persons developing hypersensitivity (anaphylatic) reactions must
receive immediate medical attention. May cause irritation.
After inhalation: Remove to fresh air. Give artificial respiration or oxygen.
After skin contact: Flush effected area with plenty of water while removing
contaminated clothing.
After eye contact: Flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes.
After swallowing: Wash out the mouth with water, consult a physician.

Fire-fighting measures

Combustible solid. Electrostatically chargeable powder. Dust/air mixture may ignite or explode. Take measures against electrostatic discharges.
Extinguishing media: Water spray, carbon dioxide, dry chemical powder or foam. Use water spray for cooling containers.
Protective equipment: Self-contained breathing apparatus and protecting clothes.
In event of fire: Formation of CO, CO2, NOx or chlorine containing compound is possible.

Accidental release measures

Environmentally hazardous substance. May cause long term harmful effect to the environment.
Do not let to flow into the environment. In case of spill collect the material carefully into labelled container for disposal.
Avoid dusting. Use protective equipment. Dispose as hazardous waste. Incineration is recommended.

Handling and storage

During handling if dust generation is possible use protective equipment.
Do not breathe dust. Use dust mask or gas mask with dust filter. (Filter type FFP2 or P2 is recommended).
Avoid getting into eyes. The powder can irritate the mucous membranes. Use protective googles.
Avoid getting into skin. Use working clothes or lab coat and protecting gloves in case direct contact is possible.
Electrostatically chargeable, combustible powder. Avoid dusting. Avoid generation of sparks.
Keep in cool place in tightly closed container.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Closed system, efficient air exchange ventillation, use PPE if the aiborne concentration exceeds the occupational exposure limits.
Occupational exposure limits: Not determined yet.
Use dust resistant gloves, working clothes, shoes and safety googles.
Use respiratory protection in case of dust generation.
Half mask FFP2 or gas mask with P2 filter is recommended.
Industrial hygiene: Do not eat, drink or smoke during working.
Wash hands and face before every break and after working.
Change contaminated working clothes. Wash before reuse.

Stability and reactivity

Stable in normal conditions.
Organic substance. Can be reactive with strong oxidisers.

Disposal considerations

Incineration is recommended.
