Handling and storage

- Mechanical exhaust required. Do not breathe vapours.
- If needed, use a NIOSH/MSHA - approved respirator, but not until training by EH&S.
- Wear chemical-resistant gloves and safety goggles.
- Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing.
- Avoid prolonged or repeated use.
- Wash thoroughly after handling and have eyewash fountain and safety shower available for emergency use.
- Wash any contaminated clothing before reuse.
- Keep tightly closed and light resistant containers and store in a cool, dry place.

The products are loaded into a reactor connected to a scrubber.

We confirm that the synthesis of other substance from this intermediate takes place under strictly controlled conditions during its whole lifecycle as described under Article 18(4) and Section 2.1 of the Guidance for Intermediates.

Effectiveness:
Prevention of exposure since the substance is rigorously contained by technical means during its whole lifecycle and procedural and control technologies are used to minimise emission and any resulting exposure as described under Article 18(4).
