Administrative data
First-aid measures
artificial respiration if breathing has stopped. Keep the
affected person warm and at rest. Seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Promptly wash with copious quantities of water while lifting
the eye lids - for a period of at least 15 minutes. Seek
medical attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Promptly remove any contaminated clothing or footwear, and
flush the skin with copious amounts of water for at least 15
minutes. Seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: NEVER MAKE AN UNCONSCIOUS VOMIT OR DRINK FLUIDS!!
Rinse the lips and mouth. Seek medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
carbon dioxide
Product arising from burning: NOx and COx.
Product determined by test: Y
Protective equipment: Use self contained breathing apparatus and full body
protective equipment.
Accidental release measures
ignition sources and control the generation of dust/vapours.
Vacuum (with HEPA-filtered and explosion proof equipment)
or scoop spilled material and place in clean, dry container.
Rinse the area and the materials involved. All waste
collected is placed in a sealed container and sent for
incineration.
PPE: respiratory, skin and eye protection to prevent
overexposure. (Gloves, Full Air Suit)
Spill-kits, eyewash and safety showers available in all
15-CPT handling areas.
Handling and storage
provided with efficient local exhaust ventilation systems.
All dispensing, sampling and charging operations to be
carried out in closed systems, i.e. using glove box
containment technology.
Handling of 15-CPT should only be carried out using gloves
and safety glasses.
In the event of spillage (open handling) wear full air suit.
(PPE: respiratory, skin and eye protection to prevent
overexposure)
Storage: Store in tightly closed containers, in a cool, well
ventilated area.
The product is incompatible with strong acids and bases.
Keep away from oxidising substances.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: The test substance should be packaged in a double
polyethylene liner (e.g., a bag within
a bag) inside a sealed (e.g., lever lock lid) fiber drum.
The material can be shipped under ambient conditions.
