First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove to fresh air, seek medical attention. If breathing is
difficult give oxygen.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Immediately flush with water for at least 15 minutes, if
discomfort persists seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with soap and water for 15 minutes. If exposure is
severe or irritation develops seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek immediate medical attention.

Recommended extinguishing agent: CO2, dry powder, foam

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear suitable personal protective equipment.

Avoid rising dust. Sweep up and place in closed containers
for waste. If one is available use an industrial vacuum
cleaner equipped with a high efficiency particulate filter.
Ventilate area and thoroughly wash spill site after material
pick up is complete.

Handling and storage

Handling: The substance should be handled in a ventilation hood, using
suitable personal protective equipment, e.g. gloves and eye
protection. In addition as it is also recommended that it
is handled under an inert atmosphere of argon or nitrogen.

Storage: Substance should be stored in its original container, under
an inert atmosphere of argon or nitrogen in a cool, well
ventilated area out of direct sunlight.

Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Typically packaged in weights from 0.02 - 1.0 kg in polymer-
coated ambered glass bottles.
