First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove patient from exposure. Obtain medical attention if
ill effects occur.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Irrigate with eyewash solution or clean water for at least
15 minutes. Obtain medical attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash skin with water. Obtain medical attention if ill
effects occur.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Water spray, foam, dry powder or carbon dioxide may be used.
Product arising from burning: Products of combustion may contain oxides of carbon,
nitrogen and sulfur together with metal oxide smoke.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: A self contained breathing apparatus and suitable protective
clothing should be worn.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear suitable protective clothing (see 2.3.1). Protect
against dust formation. Clear up spillages. Transfer to a
labelled container for disposal in accordance with local
regulations. Wash the spillage area clean.
Handling and storage
Handling: Observe the usuak precautions for handling organic
chemicals. Control dust formation. Avoid contact with skin
and eyes and inhalation of high concentrations of dust.
Suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye/face protection
should be worn.
Storage: Store in sealed containers in a dry place.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Fully opening plastic drum - weight restricted to a maximum
of 50kgs.
