First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Move injured person into fresh air and keep person calm
under observation. If uncomfortable: Seek hospital and bring
along the safety data sheet.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Immediately flush with plenty of water for at least 15
minutes. Remove any contact lenses and open eyelids widely.
If irritation persists: Continue flushing during transport
to hospital. Bring along the safety data sheet.
Emergency measure - Skin: Remove contaminated clothing immediately and wash skin with
soap and water. In case of eczema or other skin disorders:
Seek medical attention and bring along the safety data
sheet.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Immediately rinse mouth and drink plenty of water. Keep
person under observation. If uncomfortable: Seek hospital
and bring along the safety data sheet.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Fire-extinguishing media appropriate for surrounding

possible, the powder should be slightly moisted with water
before it is collected with shovel, broom of the like.

Handling and storage

Handling: Work practice should minimise contact. Contact with eyes and
skin should be avoided. An eye wash bottle must be
available at the work site. Contaminated clothing should be
changed. Dust generating processes should be avoided.
Mechanical ventilation may be required.

Storage: Beaucage Reagent should be stored in a dry and cool place
under inert atmosphere.

Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Beaucage Reagent is packed in PE bags under an inert
atmosphere and the placed in an airtight container.
