First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with plenty of water. Seek immediate medical

attention.

Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with mild soap and plenty of water.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek immediate medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Combustion products may contain carbon, nitrogen and

phosphorus oxides. Suitable extinguishing agents are foam,

carbon dioxide and dry powder.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Sweep up spill material and place in suitable waste

containers, Label and dispose of by incineration.

Handling and storage

Handling: Observe the usual precautions for handling organic

chemicals. Use engineering controls (eg local exhaust

ventilation, plexiglass shieldings). Avoid skin contact,

wear suitable protective clothing, eye/face protection and

gloves.

Storage: Store in unbreakable steel or plastic drums. Drums must be

tightly sealed and kept upright. Labelling should be

distinctive and durable. Store empty drums together at a

separate location. Foodstuffs and/or food packaging must

not be stored in the same room.
