Several studies were conducted.

A GLP study conducted in 1994 according to 84/449/EEC, appendix A14 determined that the test substance shows no thermal sensitivity and no mechanical sensibility (impact and friction).

A non -GLP study conducted in 2006 according to 92/69/EEC, appendix A14 determined that the test substance shows no mechanical sensibility (impact and friction).

Therefore the substance is not classsified as explosive.

Justification for classification or non-classification

In accordance with Annex I, Section 2.1 of Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 and UN GHS Rev 6 (2015) the substance has not to be classified as explosive in class 1.
