- Executive summary:
A study to determine the melting point of the test item was performed according to EU method A.1 (capillary method) / OECD 102, under GLP conditions. A preliminary test was carried out in order to determine the melting temperature range for test item. Based on the results of the preliminary test, a main test consisting of three series of measurements in the range of 130.0 °C – 400.0°C was performed.
All samples started to change colour at 150.0ºC. At 175°C the level of samples started to raise and at about 200°C the tint of samples was dark brown. Therefore, the test item decomposes below the melting point under atmospheric pressure. Under test conditions, the test item decomposes at 150.0 °C.

Preliminary test:
The study was carried out in order to determine the melting temperature range for the test item (in the range of 25.0 – 400.0°C). At about 150°C, when heated at 10.0˚C per minute, yellowing of the sample at the edges of the capillary was observed. At about 175°C the sample changed color to brown.
Main test
The three series of melting point measurements were performed in the temperature range 130.0 - 400.0°C. The heating rate was 1.0ºC/min. Samples number 1, 2 and 3 started to change the tint to brown at the edges of capillaries in the range of 150-160ºC. At 175°C the level of samples started to raise. At about 200°C the tint of samples was dark brown.
