Details on results:
The highest concentration of monoamine oxidase in water is achieved at 102 mg/mL. At this concentration, the solution is in a gel-like state. Adding additional lyophilized powder into this solution will make mixing impossible.

The final concentration of CDX-616 is calculated based on the amount of lyophilized powder added and the final volume of the solution (Table 1). The UV280nm absorbance of each solution is measured to confirm that the OD is within linear range.

Conclusions:
Monoamine is extremely soluble in water. It was not possible to measure the full extent of monoamine oxidase solubility as the solution becomes too viscous above 102 mg/mL and it cannot be mixed sufficiently to confirm all of the lyophilized powder was dissolved. Therefore, the water solubility of monoamine oxidase is reported as > 102 g/L.

Description of key information

Monoamine is extremely soluble in water. It was not possible to measure the full extent of monoamine oxidase as the solution becomes too viscous above 102 mg/mL and it cannot be mixed sufficiently to confirm all of the lyophilized powder was dissolved. Therefore, the water solubility of monoamine oxidase is reported as > 102 g/L.
