Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Details on results:
The solution of test item and n-octanol was observed to be a light amber, single phase solution with no undissolved test item.

Approximate solubility in n-octanol: >5 x 10^5 mg/L

Approximate solubility in water: 288 mg/L

Approximate Pow: >1.74 x 10^3

Approximate log10 Pow: >3.24

Discussion

The HPLC estimation and shake-flask method were not used due to the test item being surface active.

Conclusions:
The partition coefficient of the test item has been estimated to be greater than 1.74 x 10^3, log10 Pow >3.24.
Executive summary:

Estimated to be greater than 1.74 x 10^3 at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C, log10 Pow >3.24, based on the solubility in n-octanol and water, designed to be compatible with Method A.8 Partition Coefficient of Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008, Method 107 of the OECD Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals, 27 July 1995 and Method 117 of the OECD Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals, 13 April 2004.  Study conducted under GLP Conditions.

Description of key information

Study conducted to recognised testing guidelines with GLP certification.
