The change of the conductivity in comparison with water due to the addition of the Test Item is negligible. No dissociation occurred. The dissociation constant has therefore been theoretical determined and calculated from the water solubility.

K = [EBDC2-] x [Me2+] = solubility mancozeb (mol/L) x solubility mancozeb (mol/L)

K= 9.07543E-07 x 9.07543E-07 = 8.2E-13

Conclusions:
The change of the conductivity in comparison with water due to the addition of the Test Item is negligible. No dissociation occurred.
Executive summary:

A study was conducted according to OECD Guideline 112 to determine the dissociation constant of the test item. However, the test item has no affinity to water and will therefore not dissociate in water. The solubility in water is very low (0.2 mg/L). According to OECD Guideline 112, the dissociation constant of compounds with low solubility in water should be assessed with the spectrophotometric method or using the conductometric method. Therefore the non-dissociative character in water is verified using the conductometric method. The change of the conductivity in comparison with water due to the addition of the Test Item is negligible. No dissociation occurred. The dissociation constant has therefore been theoretical determined and calculated from the water solubility to be K = 8.2E-13.
