For thermal stability study

Test substance thermally stable:
yes

Any other information on results incl. tables

The test was carried out in duplicate. Both thermograms are very similar, showing a series of endothermic and exothermic peaks over the range 171 - 384 °C, with the largest exothermic peak occurring at 348 - 349 °C. The total normalized energy output from the exothermic peaks, i.e. the heat of decomposition, is

Run 1: 262 J/g.

Run 2: 267 J/g,

giving an average of 265 J/g.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The heat of decomposition of the test substance = 265 J/g.
Executive summary:

In a study performed under GLP in accordance with ASTM E537 using Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) the heat of decomposition of the test material was determined to be 265 J/g.
