Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Two studies to determine the boiling point of the test material by DSC (differential scanning calorimetry) were performed according to procedures outlined in ASTM E537-86 and OECD 103. One study was performed under an air atmosphere, the second under an atmosphere of nitrogen. Both tests produced similar thermograms which showed a broad exothermic event indicating the test material undergoes thermal not oxidative decomposition. The onset of decomposition occurred at 598 K (325 C).

The boiling point of the test substance was not determined because the test material decomposed before the boiling point was reached.
