Administrative data

First-aid measures

General information:
Symptoms of poisoning may even occur after several hours; therefore medical observation for at least 48 hours after the accident.
Take affected persons out into the fresh air.
Position and transport stably in side position.

After inhalation:
In case of unconsciousness place patient stably in side position for transportation.
Supply fresh air; consult doctor in case of complaints.

After skin contact:
Immediately wash with water and soap and rinse thoroughly.
If skin irritation continues, consult a doctor.

After eye contact:
Rinse opened eye for several minutes under running water. If symptoms persist, consult a doctor.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing agents:
CO2, sand, extinguishing powder.
Use fire extinguishing methods suitable to surrounding conditions.
For safety reasons unsuitable extinguishing agents:
Do not use water with full jet.

Accidental release measures

Do not allow to enter sewers, surface or ground water.
Prevent from spreading (e.g. by damming-in or oil barriers).
Absorb with liquid-binding material (sand, diatomite, acid binders, universal binders, sawdust).

Handling and storage

Store in cool, dry place in tightly closed receptacles.
Store away from foodstuffs.
Store away from oxidising agents.
Store away from water.

Exposure controls / personal protection

General protectiv and hygienic measures:
The usual precautionary measures are to be adhered to when handling chemicals.
Keep away from foodstuffs, beverages and feed.
Immediately remove all soiled and contaminated chlothing.
Wash hands before breaks and at the end of work.
Avoid close or long term contact with the skin

Respiratory protection:
No respiratory protection is ordinarily required under normal conditions of use. Select a filter suitable for combined particulate/ gases and organic vapours
(boiling point > 65 ° C, AP2, EN 14387), if exposure limit is exceeded or when aerosol or mist is formed.

Protection of hands:
Safety gloves of nitrile rubber or viton. The exact break trough time has to be found out by the manufacturer of the protective gloves and has to be observed.

Eye protection:
tightly sealed goggles.

Stability and reactivity

Stable at normal conditions.
Avoid contact with heat, sparks, flames and all other sources of ignition.
Reacts with strong oxidising agents.

Disposal considerations

Must not be disposed together with household garbage. Do not allow product to reach sewage system.
